This is the companion web site to the book 'The Intelligent Guide to Texas Holdem Poker' by Sam Braids. It contains excerpts from the book and gives updates on information that has changed since the book was published. Also has links to other books on poker, and lists of US and Canadian Poker rooms.

Some sites have sections with several book reviews and many of those review are actually pretty insightful. But with the amount of attention focused on learning poker strategy these days it really makes good sense to build a site specifically for reviews of poker books that can help you improve your game. This was a young site when we visited and more features need to be added but the concept and execution are solid – an index that shows all the authors at a glance and takes you to reviews of that author's books with one click.

This site promotes the book 'How to Turn Your Poker Playing into a Business'. by Ann-Margaret Johnston a Certified Public Accountant. If you are making good money at poker (or if you expect to) you must check out this site. The book offers a comprehensive analysis of the tax implications of your poker winnings. Recommended reading.
