This is a pretty interesting website because even though certain portions of it have swedish language text the vast majority seems to be geared towards those who speak english. The features on poker rules, strategy and pros are adequate, but the forum is what really stands out – the moderator is Dr. Benjimin Holer, a PhD in math and algorithms at Stockholm University and a professional poker player himself, and he is very accessible for questions or discussion.

The main function of the site is to act as host to an organized poker league. The members enter a wide variety of tournaments, both buy-in and freeroll alike and collect points to compete for standings on the leagues leaderboard. Competitions are held routinely with groups from other forums, and the results posted.

Pretty good concept – the features such as poker room reviews, books, bonus guides, tournaments are mostly presented in the format of a forum so that readers can comment and give their own reviews to the offerings and comments on articles and interviews.

This forum site has some good supporting features. The poker strategy section has articles on betting, cheating, position and bluffing, and the poker tools section has a database that tracks almost 30,000 players worldwide. Interviews by famous poker players are offered as well as articles on poker, some being personal accounts by forum members.

Features include:discussion forum, poker tournament news, poker rules, poker articles, free casino games, book reviews, poker books for sale, poker news and access to a Free Online Chat room.

Reviews of 50 different online poker rooms are provided at this forum site based in th UK, with ratings of the various rooms based on reviews from members and visitors. The site has a good section on poker strategy, and a series called 'poker school' that gives step by step advice on texas holdem. Latest forum threads are posted on the index page, as are recent news articles.

Part of the 'Gambling Advocate' web ring on ezboards, this forum appears to be only now getting under way with just a few posts, but we will continue to watch it for future growth.

The best features at the Poker Web are the news articles (lots of them, and from international as well as US sources) and the Online Poker School which has quite a few articles on strategy, several by poker pro's like Jennifer Harman and Erik Lindgren. The forum is pretty active so check it frequently for new posts.

On the main index page, check out the interview with Gavin Griffin done just for the Rounders Room. Gavin is the 2004 WSOP Pot Limit World Champion, and was youngest WSOP bracelet winner ever.

Tips 4 Poker has a good forum with many of the site resources listed as sections in the forum. Strategy, tips, articles, poker on TV, poker psychology and a few others. The site itself has some keen items as well with a section on cheating and a 'Poker Babes' feature that includes a photo gallery of Evelyn Ng (pant pant, drool).

The top of the forum has a cool calendar feature where you need only click on the date (usually today) and all the new posts are instantly displayed. As the name suggests, the focus is on poker in and around the Toronto area, and the forum really does contain many more posts on local events than anything else.

The site and the forum seemed to be pretty new when we visited, but the features are still good, with above average coverage of WPT and WSOP poker events, and a well written and thoughtful set of blog entries by the site author. We will keep an eye on this site as the content develops.

A pure forum, WNYPoker.com is a poker discussion forum for all poker players, and a local games calendar for poker players in and around Western New York (USA). Freeroll passwords are offered to various members at different times, although the requirements for getting passwords is not known – it's kind of a mystery...

This is a great concept – the site has many features but is most importantly billed as a forum where players can look for rake free games in their city or state, or at their local college or university. Topics are broken down into regular games and special events.

Say – is Zlonk a noun or a verb? Well anyway, Zlonk Poker has a good forum and sponsors numerous freerolls for their members at many of the web's major online poker rooms. These no limit holdem (mostly) games are open to all forum members. The forum is pretty wild, sometimes raunchy but contains some good posts, and the site has a list of freerolls and passwords for the league tournaments.
